Your brand identity is how you want the world—and in our case, language models—to understand you.
At this step of onboarding, we ask for a few key inputs that define who you are and how you want to be seen. These serve as the benchmark Sentaiment uses to evaluate perception accuracy across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other models.
Here’s what we ask for—and what good examples look like:
🧾 Brand Story
A short narrative that explains what your brand is, what it does, and why it exists.
Example (Stark Industries):
“Stark Industries is a global leader in defense innovation, energy technologies, and sustainable R&D. Founded by Howard Stark and reinvented under Tony Stark, the company has shifted from weapons manufacturing to clean energy and advanced AI, with a focus on global humanitarian impact.”
🎯 Positioning
This explains how your product is positioned in the market—what you offer, who you serve, and how you’re different.
Example:
“We position Stark Industries as the future of sustainable tech—combining AI, arc reactor energy, and advanced robotics to solve the world’s biggest challenges. Unlike legacy defense contractors, our solutions prioritize transparency, ethical application, and long-term global value.”
💡 Core Values
The key principles your company stands for. These are used to check if the LLMs reflect your ideals correctly.
Example:
Innovation with purpose
Transparency and accountability
Global equity
Science-led, ethics-first development
🎯 Mission Statement
A concise statement that captures your brand’s purpose.
Example:
“To create groundbreaking technology that advances humanity—responsibly.”
🗣 Brand Voice
The tone and personality of your brand. This helps us determine if AI is presenting you with the right style and authority.
Example:
“Stark Industries speaks with confident innovation—direct, bold, and visionary. Our tone blends technical precision with forward-thinking optimism. We avoid jargon and lead with clarity.”
Why This Matters
Each of these inputs feeds directly into how we calculate your Echo Score and determine which Suggested Actions to recommend. If ChatGPT describes you as “an old defense contractor,” but your story reflects a modern energy-first mission, we’ll flag that gap—and show you how to fix it.
Even a rough draft is helpful. Soon, you’ll be able to upload brand decks, About pages, or guidelines to enrich this data automatically.
